How Security Tags Work
Security tags are plastic devices that emit a constant high-frequency radio signal. When a customer attempts to exit the store without paying, the tag triggers an alarm as it passes through doors equipped with sensors, alerting store staff to potential theft.
RF Security Tag Deactivator
The D-305 Security Deactivator efficiently deactivates these tags. Once deactivated, the tags no longer emit a signal, allowing the customer to leave the store without setting off alarms, ensuring a smooth and interruption-free shopping experience.
Types of Tags and Their Usage
There are two main types of tags:
- Reusable Hard Tags: Removed using special tools at the point of sale.
- One-Time Adhesive Tags: Deactivated using the Deactivator.
The D-305 is designed specifically for RF Pin Tags. The choice of tag depends on the product type and the store’s security policy.
